I wrote this song when I was in a period of my life where everything just didn't seem to work out and all I could hold on to was that little bit of faith that was left inside of me. Like a child, the only thing I could hold on to was God's hand. I based this song upon Psalm 91:14-16 the MSG version. It tells us to hold on to God for dear life, He'll get us out of any trouble, He'll give us the best of care when we get to know and trust in Him.
